The patient wanted the dallas maverics Logo with the words "Champion" and "2011". THis design was the only way I could get it all to fit. Looking back, I wish I would have put "NBA" instead of the second "2011"

Someone in New York has patened the idea of inserting an LED light into an upper retainer and when activated projects and image such as a heart or letter of the alphabet onto the wearers tongue! I think this is so cool! I cannot wait until it comes to market maybe I will be able to include it into RetainerDesigner.com, so users can choose there own LED design.

This will be a hit with he kiddos in the lunch room! Or adults in the club! :)

I found this app while surfing the internets for interesting retainer news.

This is an app found in the apple app store. Using your iOS device you can add a set of braces to most any picture.

The new site has officially launched!Despite a few bugs we are working through this new site has a lot more function and is easier to use than the old one. With this site you will be able to register as either: Patient, Doctor or lab. DLAT Conference and Expo, Orthodontics Hands-on course

Dental Laboratory association of Texas (DLAT) invited Priscilla Mier, owner of JBC and Company, to their 2011 Southwest Conference and Expo at the Mandalay Hotel in Las Colinas. She gave a presentation about how she formulated her own acrylics and eventually to achieve FDA approval. She also gave a hands-on training course, this is what this video is showing, the beginning to that course where we learned new acrylic designing techniques. My iPhone ran out of memory to I didn't get to record the actual training, just the instructional part. Cant wait for next year!

Here is how the whole designing your retainer online works on the back end. I am very proud if my acrylic guy I think he did a great job! Also the colors that the patient picked out were very complementary.
